The MLS is back online and can be accessed at www.BakersfieldREALTOR.com. When logging in the first time, you will be prompted to choose a new password out of an abundance of caution. After logging in, the Dashboard still has several links that are not fixed. However, “Search the MLS” is the first button which will take you directly into the MLS.
Rapattoni has provided the following information regarding the restored MLS system:
System Restoration Information
The MLS includes all “core” functionality, including the following features:
- Logon
- Input (including Pictures and Documents)
- Mapping
- Search
- CMA Packages
- Exports
- Reports
- Client Portals
- Carts/Folders
- Atlas and Realist Tax
- Rapattoni Mobile MLS Apps
Database Backups
The database has been restored as of early Sunday morning, 8/6/2023, between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time. This means that you will need to check all listings since Sunday, 8/6/2023, and re-enter any new listings or revisions.
Pictures and Documents Prior to 8/6
In an effort to get the core system restored as soon as possible, pictures and documents from prior to 8/6/2023 will not initially be available. Efforts to restore these items are ongoing.
Listing Syndication
Listing syndication to third party sites and services is in the process of being enabled as Rapattoni coordinates with MLS staff.
SSO Links
Single Sign-On (SSO) links are currently unavailable and will be restored in the coming weeks.
Auto-Prospecting
Auto-prospecting will be restored in the coming days and we anticipate it will resume where it last left off on 8/6/2023. This means some duplicate emails may be sent out; however, no emails should be missed.
Existing Client Portal Links
All Client Portals have been disabled but you may review and enable them at your convenience. Existing client portal links will continue to function as normal.
DOM/CDOM
DOM/CDOM increments are not currently operational but will be restored in the coming days. Rapattoni is working with MLS staff to determine whether the calculations should be adjusted based on the outage.
Temporary Issues and Unavailable Features
Since Rapattoni is still in the process of restoring certain MLS services, the following features may not initially be available or may not be fully operational:
- Price/Status Change Indicators
- Listing Expiration
- Incomplete Listing Deletion
- Email Alerts and Scheduled Emails
- Published Statistical Reports
- Coming Soon Date/Status (if applicable)
- On Market Date (if applicable)
- Some system banners may not display correctly
Rapattoni sincerely apologizes for the impact this outage had on the MLS and are working to restore all features as quickly as possible.

The Bakersfield Association of REALTORS® is a non-profit organization that serves more than 3,000 REALTORS® and Industry Partners. Our partners are affiliates who work closely with our REALTOR® members. In the course of a real estate sales transaction, many real estate related businesses may be involved from financial institutions to title companies, home inspectors, home warranty providers, pest control services and others. These key people and services directly impact our REALTORS® businesses. Our partners are given the chance to network with our REALTOR® members.
